In the Modes and Routines app on my Samsung phone, there is an option to automatically revert changes when the routine ends. I think there should be a similar option in SmartThings. Ideally, there would be individual control for each action in the routine, but it would be ok if it reverted all actions when turned on. For example, there could be a switch below the “Delay this action” and “Auto turn off” toggles that says “Auto revert” (or something similar). When you turn it on there would be two options: when routines end and after set time. If you select when routine ends, the action will revert after a user specified time after the conditions become false (0 minutes acceptable). If you select after set time, the action will revert itself after a user set time. This would be helpful for me because I have a routine that automatically turns on one of my lights to a dim setting if motion is detected at night. I don’t have a good way to reset it’s brightess in the morning, especially if I had it set to a specific brightness below 100%. If there was a revert option, I would have an easy way to reset it’s brightess.
