I originally set up a Kwikset 916 lock back in 2018 however I am going to replace it as the screen is damaged from the sun. Kwikset sent me a free replacement. Can I just do the normal pairing of the new lock through the android app and not have to redo anything else, the lock codes, everything else will work?
Lock codes are stored on the lock and learned by ST from it. Your existing lock codes will not be on the new lock. If you have an Routines that use the existing lock, you can replace it in those Routines once you add the new lock.
