Question on routines

I just got my V2 hub and I’m hooked. I have installed a few items and more are coming.
I have a door sensor, light switch, motion sensor and a siren. I have a few questions about connecting some actions. It’s probably obvious but sometimes I get stuck on obvious items.
I know that I can attach options to the SmartHome Monitor and to the Routines but I want

  1. motion detector to arm the system when we go to the bedroom and it’s after 10pm
  2. arm system after midnight if 1 did not trigger
  3. arm system was door sensor but can I add motion after 1am?

  1. motion detector to arm the system when we go to the bedroom and it’s after 10pm

    a. Use the door sensor in the security section of your Smart Home Monitor under "Armed Stay"
    b. Create a mode called "Night"
    c. Create a routine called “Good Night” that will be triggered by the motion sensor between 10pm and 1am.
    When creating the routine, set the following:
    i. Set Smart Monitor to = Arm(Stay)
    ii. Change the mode to = Night
    iii. Automatically perform “Good Night” when… = Things Start Happening (here select your motion sensor and Start/End times)

2. arm system after midnight if 1 did not trigger

Create a routine called “Night Check” that will run at 1am, if the home is not in “Night” mode.
When creating this routine, set the following:
i. Set Smart Monitor to = Arm(Stay)
ii. Change the mode to = Night
iii. Automatically perform “Night Check” when… = At specific time …(1am)

3. arm system was door sensor but can I add motion after 1am?

Create a “custom” monitoring rule in your Smart Home Monitoring
i. “What kind of device” = motion sensor
ii. Select your device
iii. Under “More Options,” select “Only when mode is…” = “Night”
