So I’m about to dive into the smart lighting scene. Recently bought a google home and Harmony hub to control my TV and now need some lighting. I see best but has some starter kits. Question though, those starter kits come with a bridge themselves. Do I still need the Samsung smartthings hub? I know smartthings is technically compatible with google home and my harmony hub is not. I’m using ifttt to connect the harmony hub to my Google home.
Anyway, can someone clear this up for me. There’s so many different setups and hubs out there. What do I need at this point to set myself up for optimal compatibility going forward? Will I need an additional hub if the Philips hue kit comes with a hub itself? Sorry for the new questions.
