(Pre-Subcategory creation) Deals/Sales/Coupons/Pricing

Why do you guys say rare? Amazon has had them in stock for awhile now. Where did you guys order them from?

I think they might be at the bottom of the shipping order for those of us that grabbed them from Lowe’s in NYC for $30 last month. 2 day turned into 2 month shipping when we ( the forum collective) hit them up for everything they had and then some.

Does this work with smartthings?

Not directly. Some of the devices have IFTTT channels, so you could get indirect integration that way.

Oh joy. One cloud channel hooking up to another cloud channel. What can possibly go wrong? Especially when ST uber reliability is involved…

Yup, I’m negative!

J

Some cloud channels are very reliable.

I use Zapier at work for some integrations (Zapier is like IFTTT, but offers 2-3 times the integrations, mostly geared toward businesses, but not all) and have had 100% reliability with it. That’s using the free tier.

IFTTT can be spotty

Still get error 237 when trying to order, and the ten off code gave 6.37 of, wtf? God I hate Lowe’s.

Well, guess I don’t need more things. Anyone else having these issues or is it just me? If I call in will they let me use the revo codes? Obviously not telling them what it is.

I did not have a problem placing it in my cart or adding the coupon… but I don’t need anymore so I didn’t try to actually place the order. And they have some funniness with the coupon – it looks like since it gave me 1 of 3 for free, it took away 1/3 of the $10 off! This unfortunately makes them about $21.10 each (plus tax), not the $20 I computed above.

Because of this the 10% off coupon is actually better, because the discount becomes $7.00, saving $0.11 on each of the 3.

Well if you really want to get down to the nitty gritty Hawaii has the lowest sales tax and apparently they will still ship 1-3 business days free…

Total got cut off it’s $65.60 After tax

I had the issue as well. My guess is that the coupon is being applied mostly equally to all three items in the cart, thus causing some of the discount to be lost as it won’t give you money to take the free one.

Yes, that is how Lowe’s works. They don’t take coupon off the total. They divide it up over the items in the cart. So in this case $3.333 off each of the three items. So when they $0 out the 3rd free item you lose that $3.333 leaving you with $6.666 discount off the other 2.

i did not have that issue while ordering. i got 10$ discount. and i tried now and still get 10$ discount
