I have two over the kitchen sink and they have been rock-solid. No on/off hiccups, dimming works through the range, etc.
Not a huge data set, I know, but it’s been a better experience with those than with those damned GE Link floods (8) that I have in the back yard. The other night I had to go out and unscrew one of them to turn it off because it just wouldn’t respond. Screwed it back in the next day and it’s been fine. Go figure.
I just cracked out 2 of my old Galaxy S2 phones, set them on wifi and loaded Smarttiles. Screens are a bit small, but good enough for areas that I only need to control a few things. I knew I would eventually find a use for them
We have 5 ( yes 5 ) of the Amazon phones that we grabbed for the included $99 year of prime. 2 are still NIB with the exception of being opened and added to amazon act to activate the free year of prime. Between those and the $39 Kindle 6" tabs I have no shortage of " remote controls/ access panels." . No adapting them all for wireless charging and deciding where to mount them is another story.
Home Depot One-day Special on a variety of Philips bulb bundles. About $8/bulb for daylight BR30/40s and even less for the soft whites and A19s. Home Depot Special Buy of the Day
I was looking through here ( searching ) and can’t find anything as to whether or not the Panasonic hub or cameras will work in ST. The description says the cameras can be used at motion detectors to trigger lights or other activities but I can’t find details.
I already have plenty of cameras that I can’t use with ST LOL
