Which Tivo model ? It won’t work with my Roamio , Minis or Series 3 ( Okay I never took it upstairs to try it in the 3 , no apps on that one I need a keyboard for ). Both Harmony and Tivo said it was not compatible. I might have to try is again if an update made it work. I just use the KB on my phone if I need to type something.

As far as BT, yes , because to pair it to my Amazon TV I added keyboard directly to the TV box as a BT keyboard. So Fire Tv has 4 remotes listed in its settings. The Amazon remote, Gamepad remote, Harmony Hub ( for regular Harmony remote) and Harmony KB. If I am using a phone or tablet, it shows up as a 5th remote. Not sure if there is a limit to how many remotes you can pair to on one box.

They are all listed as refurbs, because they are NOS since Harmony discontinued the line. I’ve bought 3 of them and they are 100% NIB ,not white/brown box refurbs.

At least the Tivo Premier models work with USB keyboards (and wireless dongle USB keyboards. You might not get an official confirmation on it, though. I suspect it will also work with the Roamio… Going to grab a wired keyboard and try it… and yeah, Roamio works with a USB keyboard. It’s not completely foolproof, but the directional buttons navigate the menus, and you can type in the search box, at least everything but a space and backspace.

Please take the non-deal talk to their respective threads. There is a wealth of how-to “will it work?” Info outside this thread.

You’re right… there is. But confirming that a device that has a deal posted does have some compatibility is really not out of scope, so long as it’s to the point. But, if you don’t like it, report the post, don’t try and post-shame us… it’s not like this is 100’s of posts about how Lowe’s won’t price match on GE switches.

Not to mention, you’ve posted questions about compatibility here, too –

Home Depot Special Buy of the Day - Nest 2nd Generation $169.00

I got a nest 3rd gen with about 10 hours on it I would sell for that price

That’s a pretty ridiculous statement, deals and compatibility go hand in hand, I would say the vast majority of people in this forum would agree, and what I think makes this thread great.

If anyone got the go controls packages at home Depot for reduced price has pictures of the shelf and price tag or receipt could you pm it to me?

For those who use Comed, you may get additional $100 rebate, so total comes to 69.99. That’s a good deal for Nest!

$160 plus $5 shipping at Woot for the Logitech Harmony Ultimate Home Touch Screen Remote (comes with touch screen remote and Harmony Home Hub). Factory Reconditioned

I haven’t used a touchscreen harmony remote, but I’m sure it’s really no different than a small phone screen in the middle of the standard remote.
It does allow more entertainment devices to connect directly than the cheaper end remote (15 vs 8). Home automation product connection is unlimited.

Should I be concerned about buying factory refurbished electronics like the woot harmony remote? Is it worth the savings versus new?

never had an issue with harmony products. beware warranty is 1month to 90days not 1year. so if you are missing parts, need support to write custom code for you, have a device that is not in the DB that you want support to help with let them know before the period is over. the hardware is solid from my experience.

Logitech offers a program for trading in older Harmony equipment for newer at a discount.
Refurbished from them doesn’t necessarily mean it was broken.

Newegg also has the same price for it refurbished.

They offer a 30 day refund/replacement if that helps ease you at all.

I am super disappointed with Harmony’s hardware issues. First I had the 650. I didn’t know when I was buying it, seems like it has a well known hardware issue with the circuits that measure the remaining battery capacity or something. The effect was that it was rebooting itself and was losing it’s current state/activity.
Next I bought the Touch remote. This one has another well known defect - it has buzzing noise from the LEDs that light up the screen and the buttons. Search online for “harmony touch buzzing noise” and see. Many users have it. Some people don’t notice it, others are very annoyed by it. I changed 2 remotes and both had it. Some people say the support told them the buzz is normal!

http://renovopower.com/ needs a current Lowe’s 20% off code. It’s OK if it’s used just needs to be current.

Please post if you have one so we can get the generator running.

I love this strip for behind the TV action… a little expensive in my opinion but brighter than the Hue

I picked up a referb home hub for $50 off amazon in September. It’s been a great product but wanted to point out that the referb product doesn’t come with the 90 day Logitech support. I spent the first 2weeks building automation routines with their support desk… It only cost $10 and they called it one incident to keep the cost down . I found they had a $30/year support program for the first year I think it would be worth it. Just wanted you to be aware of the support difference.

Logitech Harmony Touch $99 at Best Buy(new not refurb)

This does not come with the hub for ST integration, but if you already have the hub this is a good deal.

Also at BB if you have an old harmony remote you can trade it in for $50 off home control(with hub) for a total of about $100 (good deal and can integrate with st) Or if you are looking for the new Elite you get $100 off for trade in so it would be $250 w/hub.
