Powerbot R9350 Vacuums appearing offline

I have 4 of these vacuums all appearing offline. I also tried to reconnect them by putting into AP mode and going through adding the device again and it fails but the wifi credentials do get transferred. I also deleted one and tried to re add and it still fails setup. I reached out to support but was wondering if anyone else has the same issues.

As of the last week of September 2026. The previously connected devices appeared online again and then as of October 1st 2026 the setup of a new device was fixed and works again.

Four going offline at once points to something that changed on the network rather than in the vacuums. The first thing I’d check is the router’s client list while you run the setup: does a vacuum actually join and get an IP address?

If it never appears, the Wi-Fi side changed. Common culprits after a router firmware update are WPA3 or WPA2/WPA3 mixed mode, required management frame protection (PMF), or 2.4 and 5 GHz merged under one name. Older robots like the R9350 usually need plain WPA2 on 2.4 GHz, so a separate 2.4 GHz SSID for them is worth a try.

If it does get an IP and setup still fails, the network is fine and the problem is between the vacuum and Samsung’s servers, which is one for support.

It wasnt my wifi because I also tried my phone hotspot forced to 2.4ghz. It was just some temporary hiccup from smartthings. At first my working devices were still connected in the app but I couldnt add the one that disconnected. Then they all went offline. Then eventually they working ones came back and a few days after I was able to complete the setup for the one I had deleted. But its all good now.
