I have mostly colored, dimmable BR30 light bulbs, 2 with night vision and the beam.
The driver finds them all but they just say Connected. Clicking into any of them shows no info. I’ve rebooted the hub a few times but it didn’t help.
I’ll try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
Update- I got this working after rebooting both my router and then the Smartthings hub. Now all LIFX devices were discovered and automations are running locally.
Edge Drivers replace DTHs, not smartapps. So they don’t typically allow for “on the fly” text values, if that’s what you were looking for.
That said, @taustin has been doing some really creative work with a combination of edge drivers and local servers that might match, depending on the exact details of the use case. Check out the “miscellaneous” list in the quick browse lists in the community-created wiki.
Or if what you are looking for is really a substitution for a groovy-based notification smartapp, check out the third party SharpTools rules engine. It does work with the new architecture. They have a free tier for simpler needs and a pro tier at $30/year which can handle all kinds of notifications. Very popular in the community.
But maybe I’m not understanding your request. This thread is for people looking for an Edge Driver for a specific brand/model device. If you’re looking for something else, feel free to start your own thread with the details.
Hey guys, everthing all right?
New request, think @Mariano_Colmenarejo will take it easy (used your nice Zigbee Thing edge driver 1st time… nice job as always!)
Zemismart Zigbee Multi Switch “new updated model” - TS0601.
You can send push notifications using Pushbullet, Pushover, Email or SMS with custom content in SharpTools.
You can use the undocumented SmartThings APIs for sending push notifications using an HTTP Action in SharpTools as well. SmartThings staff has discouraged the use of these endpoints since they are undocumented and could change, but some community members are using them. As far as I’m aware, the SmartThings Notification REST APIs currently send to all members of the location though.
Thanks @JDRoberts - to be honest, I was actually inspired by @TAustin 's web request Edge driver for this particular item. I like others have been migrating over to Sharptools with Groovy sunsetting and the loss of WebCoRe on the horizon (BTW, I’ve already gone for the pro Sharptools tier ). I’ve been using @TAustin 's web request device to make web requests on my local network from Sharptools rules…and it works really great. I was hoping to be able to do something in the same vein using a ‘device’ that could accept a string and generate Smartthings push notification…I understand there are other alternatives (Pushover, Pushbullet, SMS, etc) that are readily available from Sharptools, but I like to be able to review the history of notifications in the Smartthings app, as I’ve gotten used that that with all my WebCoRe pistons that generate push notifications.
Would it matter if the message went to all the users in your location? I’m not sure if other family members have their own SmartThings account in your setup and if that would be an issue for you if they all received the notifications.
Feel free to PM me here or in the SharpTools community and I would be happy to share some details on how you can use the undocumented notification APIs if you are interested. (Trying to be respectful of the original purpose of this thread )
Good evening, @Mariano_Colmenarejo could you please create a driver or add fingerprint in your existing drivers the Tuya door/window sensor from Avatto. It uses the SmartSense Open/Closed Sensor controller. I’m sending print with fingerprint of this sensor.
Tuya uses several “manufacturer proprietary” clusters which have unique code that doesn’t work with standard zigbee commands. “EF 00“ is one of these. So you need to find a developer who has been writing code for these kinds of tuya devices and is interested in working with your specific model. You could also try asking Zemismart to see if they are going to offer an edge driver.
Good evening @Mariano_Colmenarejo , could you please create a driver or add fingerprint to your existing drivers the Aubess brand Tuya water leak sensor . It uses the Z-Wave Water Sensor controller. Only that sensor is zigbee. The only sensor that worked with the Z-Wave Water Sensor controller, the zigbee controller did not work. I’m sending print with fingerprint of this sensor.
Good evening, @veonua could you please create a driver or add fingerprint to your existing drivers the Aqara vibration sensor. The vibration sensor controller is Xiaomi Aqara Vibration Sensor. I’m sending print with fingerprint of this sensor.
Good evening, @ygerlovin could you please create a driver or add fingerprint to your existing drivers the Aqara vibration sensor. The vibration sensor controller is Xiaomi Aqara Vibration Sensor. I’m sending print with fingerprint of this sensor.
Good Evening, @Mariano_Colmenarejo , could you please create a driver or add fingerprint on the siren Zigbee Tuya of the German brand Heiman. His controller is Zigbee Siren. And he is Zigbee Router. I’m sending print with fingerprint of this siren.
