Possible to suspend (not remove) a device?

Is there a way to temporarily suspend a device so the hub ignores it?

For example I would like the ability to be able to suspend a presence device. I have it in my car and I today I needed to park my car out on the street. Because it is on the fringe of the reception area I keep getting arrival and departure events. Since I have some actions set up to do when this happens they keep firing. I would like to tell the Hub to ignore the device, but I don’t see a way to do that short of removing it entirely.

For controlled devices such as switches and the like I can also imagine temporary suspension could be useful. Suppose you have a sensor that turns off a light when a certain amount of time has passed with nobody present. There might be a time when you want to leave the light on, although you want your other actions in the mode(s) controlling the light to continue as normal. If there was a way to tell the Hub to stop sending commands temporarily to the device that would do the trick.

For today you could set the app to only fire in certain modes or uninstall the app.

Or bring the sensor inside…

Take out the battery.
