I’m a pretty big amateur when it comes to these things.
I bought a couple zigbee soil moisture sensors from Aliexpress and I’m having trouble getting them to work. I found some drivers from a SmartThings thread that seemed to have worked for other soil sensors from AliExpress. From my understanding, once I have the driver’s if I disconnect and reconnect to the sensor it should grab the correct driver, but that doesn’t seem to be happening. I have also tried manually selecting drivers with different settings and can’t seem to get it orkings
AliExpress is just the platform where you buy things, like eBay. So different sellers offer different brands and models there. What works for one won’t necessarily work for another.
Unfortunately I’ve tried that dozens of times, I’ve also exited the app entirely and gone back in, as well as move the device right next to the hub. I still keep getting the same message when I open the device in SmartThings. I’ve also unpaired/paired it 6+ times
use wesleys driver (personal tuya devices- main)
set it as a temp and humidity sensor.
go to setting and put it as normal for profile.
manufacturer select tze200_yjjdcq… i found if this isnt selected, then the temp decimal is off and everything will be in the 100s.
dp for humidity is 3
dp for temp is 5
dp for batt is 15
then it should update after a while. i got 4 of these things and theyve been working ok.
