I have followed some instructions to create a virtual switch and virtual sensor to play a sound in my Alexa Echo. That part worked fine following some topics already created in the past.
I used: "Virtual Alexa Switch/Button]
[Release] Virtual Alexa Switch/Button)
Now the problem I have is that I need to play a sound in Alexa before the Siren sounds in Smarthing HOme Security. Right now I have set a delay of 30 seconds between Alarm activation and Siren.
I know you can turn on lights when the alarm is triggered and that will solve the problem but my virtual sensor is not displayed as “light” inside the HOme Security SmartApp
Can you help me to figure out how I can make the Virtual Switch to be part of the Ligths in teh Homde Security?
