Also forgive me if i missed it but what does the 5mm and 10mm options refer to? Is the 10mm for a standard switch and the 5mm for “flat plate” style switches?

5mm and 10mm refer to the depth of your existing light switch plate, not including the rocker.
Hello! I live in Norway and we have the same problem here. However our standard switch is 84x84mm. Do you have any premaid ones available?

The standard ones will fit, slightly bigger which doesn’t really matter, slightly smaller would be an issue.
The bigger issue would be the depth of the the existing switch plate and the distance between screws. Let me know what they and maybe a picture and I’ll see what can be done.

Ok so here are some pictures with measurements.
Looks like a 1,5cm depth, aprox 6cm between the two holes for screws.

Ok so I double checked.
Its 60mm between the screws in the wall (same as UK I guess).
The plate itself is 84mmx84mm.
The depth of the switch (naked without the outer layer) is about 10mm.
With your solution I could still use the raw “naked” switch underneath the philip hue dimmer through the hole. A standard UK one should be good.
The depth of the plastic cover that goes onto the wall is about 11mm (a bit curved so difficult to measure) and goes out a bit further.

Is it possible to buy a standard UK one 10mm deep from you. I think it would work ok for most of my switches. I tried to find your listing on ebay but only found one that does not ship to Norway and is out of stock. I would really like to try your solution, as The Etsy backing plate does not let me control the switch under (otherwise works great). Do you still make them?

These are fantastic, as soon as I know how many I need and you’re in stock I will order some.
I wonder if you have any suggestions for a similarly neat solution for an Ikea TRÅDFRI dimmer switch? They’re easy to pair with the a Hue system and I’m planning to use them in my very small hall as the Hue switch is overkill. Do you have the time/insensitive to design something?
