Ordering Fios with new Quantum router for new apt. Any concerns?

Basically what the Title says. I’ll be ordering FIOS for my new apartment and I’ll be getting the Quantum router (debating buying it from Amazon).

Any thoughts or concerns? I noticed a couple of posts about a few people experiencing issues. Is that still a problem?

I have a Quantum router I purchased on Amazon and I don’t have any issues with it.

All your SmartThings rules and such working without issue?

Any reason to pay attention to the Z-Wave support built in?

Yes, all routines and rules work fine except for the ocasional hick-up when everyone else are having issues. I don’t have any of the major issues that some community members have. The z wave is inactive. Not sure if it is leftover from the days when Verizon offered their Home Monitoring and Control service.
