[OBSOLETE] Netatmo Weather Station

@tkljr Added support for inhg, update the smartapp and the mainmodule dth

Works great! We finally have a working Netatmo integration.

Thank you.

Can anyone help with using data from the wind module, I have successfully set up core pistons using temperature and co2 along the lines of if co2 is greater then 1000 then speak a notification with a sonos speaker. However when I try to do the same with the wind module, there isnt a greater then option in the core setup, and I am not quite sure what value the wind module is returning to core as it is listed as just a sensor, whereas the other modules are listed under temperature, co2 etc. So is core reading the gust strength, wind direction, average wind?

There was a bug in the Wind Module DTH, I uploaded a new version just now. Please update.

Then in Core, select “Sensor”, find your windmodule and choose your Attribute.

I’ve tried that but it doesn’t give me the option of selecting an attribute only a comparison

Have you installed the latest version?

After you have selected your windmodule, do you “tap to set” the Attribute (in blue) before you select the comparison?

If your Core does not look like this, can you please take a screenshot?

And @jarm69, have you enabled “expert mode” in the CoRe settings?

The windmodule uses custom attributes, and I think these are only visible if expert mode is enabled

And that solves the problem, thank you very much,

The updating of data from my station seams to stop after a day or two. Everytime I have to reinstall the app, and it work’s fine. Any suggestions?

I just experienced the same issue myself.

I changed the serverUrl in the settings from https://graph.api.smartthings.com to https://graph-eu01-euwest1.api.smartthings.com/

Monitoring to see if it happens again

I am trying to use the wind sensor to close a gate when the wind exceeds 55 kph I have set a piston up that turns off the gate control relay when the max wind speed is greater then this figure. So far today it has closed the gates twice, however according to the netatmo app the maximum wind speed for the day is 17kph. So does the netatmo wind module send spurious readings which smartthings picks up but doesnt display, or is there some fault in my understanding of how the piston works. I have used a basic piston that is “If LocalWind Wind Strength is greater than 55 Then Using Gate Control Relay Turn Off”

There was a small bug with the wind strength attribute. I made a update for it recently. Make sure you are on the latest version of both the smartapp and the windmodule DTH

Ive upgraded to the latest dth, but there is something wierd going on. The current wind gusts are 5.0 kph. Now if I put a piston together to activate on gust strength, any speed below 50kph is classed as true and it activates, so I thought that perhaps the reporting was in tenths of a kph, so for instance if I set it to 85 it was actually meaning 8.5 but then if I set it to 99 it reads as currently false, ie wind gust is below that, but if I set it to say 110 it reads as currently true, so the wind gust is below 99kph but above 110 at the same time?

@jarm69 I upladed two new versions today after your post. Please update DTHs and smartapp. Wait 5-10 after updating and make sure that the windmodule is refreshed with new data. Also delete the current piston and start over to make sure that Core takes all the new changes. My current gust strenght is 26kmh, works for me:

@Magne_Knudsen If you are still having issues please update to ny latest versions of smartapp and DTH

@Townsmcp Added support for battery levels

Thanks will try that, all the other measurements I am using, humidity, co2 work brilliantly just that one driving me nuts.

Please report back, if its not working I will have a closer look

According to the log the strongest gusts I am getting are 9.3. According to the core piston I have to set it to 90 before the condition becomes false?

But again if I set it over 99 it then becomes true again.

Great work! thanks a lot. Should I keep using https://graph-eu01-euwest1.api.smartthings.com/ or go back to https://graph.api.smartthings.com ?

Very strange, works fine here. I will have a look and see if I can find something.
If you have the possibility, can you change to some of the other wind units (in the Netatmo Connect smartapp) and see if there still is a problem?

If it’s working, don’t change it
