EDIT Im getting notifications of the door locking and unlocking but no indication that a new code has been successfully programmed when I add a user.**
Hi everyone, so I ended up following the instructions above, deleting all the old applications and recreating the new one. I can now add users and the codes work. However I’m not getting any notifications. Rebooted the hub already.in the settings, I made sure that the push notifications are enabled for everything as well as the SMS. I have two phone numbers they’re separated by a semicolon. in the past this work like a charm but right now I’m not getting any notifications at all. Unlocking locking or when I create the code, there I know notifications that the code was created successfully. Anything else I need to do?
Thank you @Babar_Khan for these instructions! I’m finally getting around to updating and these definitely helped. I’m stuck on step 6 though. I’m unable to change my DTH to the generic one. It keeps giving me an error. “Access was denied. I don’t have authorization” or something of that sort. Any ideas what it may be?
As for DTH not changing, try this:
If using Chrome browser, open an incognito tab and login to IDE and try changing the DTH. For other browsers, clean the browser cache and try again.

I have noted that there have been problems with sms notifications not only with locks but generally too. It has been hit or miss for past few days, probably something to do with text servers.
Question… is there any mechanism /app / tool to read and report the existing users already in a lock (ie: Yale YRL210-ZW-0BP)? Alternately, is there a way to remotely completely wipe or delete all existing users so they can be re-entered after doing post 1997 steps? The reason I’m asking is after doing post 1997 steps 5, 6, & 7 successfully I’m getting a “User code is duplicate and not added” comment in the IDE My Devices List Events log. Any thoughts/recommendations?
So being aggravated with the latest firmware release and my locks not reporting properly, I deleted the lock manager and device handler. Trying to reinstall lock manager, i don’t see the child apps anymore and the the device manager i get the following error.
Updated 0 devices and created 0 new devices (1 skipped due to errors).
I’m a little confused. I also had trouble with the lock reporting state after the latest firmware update. I changed the DTH to ZWave Lock, uninstalled the SmartApp, deleted all the sub-applications, etc in the IDE and hit update from repo to update the Manager app. I then installed Lock-Manager in the classic app.
I re-setup the lock using the Manager App, but I am now missing the ability the manage user codes. I deleted the sub-apps assuming from these comments I wouldn’t need them anymore, but it seems like I may still need them? The reposiroty (ethayer/lock-manager (master)) does not seem to provide them anymore though. At the same time, I cannot edit/change/set any user codes. The repository was last updated a year ago. Am I using the right and most recent version of this app? Something else, that I should be doing differently?
Edit: Found it. There’s an option in the Lock Manager app called “Create New Integration” -> “Choose Type” -> “User”
I deleted the smart apps, put in the copy/paste one, added my codes back in, then changed the custom DHT to Z-Wave Lock. I am able to get my user unlock notifications now via SMS but manual lock/unlock is not working. Anyone have a fix, I see them in my notifications.
So I noticed that my activity logs weren’t showing locks and unlocks and I wanted to solve for that. So I was going through and updating a few smartthings apps from repo and apparently mistakenly updated lock manager to 2.0 and borked everything.
Anyway, I ended up starting clean and removed the app and child apps along with the custom DTH, then installed just the new app. I have 3 Kwikset 916 locks and switched them over to the generic ‘Z-Wave Lock’.
After reinstalling Lock Manager 2.0, adding the locks and adding my users back in, I appear to have proper reporting in the activity logs. I also briefly turned on push notifications and that also worked as well but I don’t want active notifications, just the activity in the logs.

So I was also having trouble. Managed to get app2.0 installed on my phone. So far so good. What I cannot do is install devicetypes/ethayer/zwave-lock.src/zwave-lock.groovy from the github repo. The system response is:

I have no idea what the error is. I have left it using the prior DTH, “Z-Wave Lock Yale.”
I think this driving the lack of reporting for me. No reporting works, nothing in the logs, no notifactions, text messages, etc.
Hello, I have a Schlage Connect lock and was no longer receiving push notifications to my phone. I’ve removed all of the old SmartApp’s, done a fresh install with Lock Manager v2.0, switched to the default device handler (Z-Wave Lock), and everything is back up and working again.
@ethayer I have the Global Settings set to a push notification on entry, however I’m running into an issue where the push notifications now say “null was unlocked by portauto”, rather than the lock name. I’ve tried renaming the lock under Lock Settings > +Setup, but no change. Has anyone else been running into this issue/
Also the old Device Handler zwave-lock-schlage.groovy doesn’t seem to work, any plans to update this in order to get the more advanced device configuration from within SmartThings?

I have a hello home on Lock routine setup and when I lock the lock using my code it doesn’t call that routine. There isn’t even a notification showing that it performed the action.
Ok so I’m finding a lot of bugs in this new app and kinda wishing I never upgraded. The old version was so seamless and everything worked off the bat. Here is what I’m finding:
1.) i put me as slot 1 with my code. It would randomly delete the code and say that the controller couldn’t set the code (invalid or duplicate code). I’d reset each lock under my name and the next day the same thing would happen. Changed my slot from 1 to 9 and it works. Don’t have anyone in slot 1 anymore. I’ll test it again by putting in “test” code in slot 1 and see what happens.
2.) only granting / revoking access notifications work on my end.
3.) hello home actions inop. At least the “on lock” one. When I get home I’ll test the hello home on unlock.
4.) I’ve been using the classic app and I can add locks/users fine. When I switch to new smartthings app and try to add a new lock or user, it takes me to the program setup screen (the initial screen after you setup the program where it asks to name the app) so I have to go back to classic app to add a user.
Maybe number 4 is the reason for all my issues? Maybe I have to add the app in classic and do all the setup in the new app? Feel like it shouldn’t be that way tho.
I’m having the same trouble with Hello Home settings not passing through the beta-2, which I had been using successfully for many months. I’m using the “Z-Wave Lock Schlage” DTH.
Do I need to revert to a different DTH, or edit the code per other users above?
