I made an Edge Driver for “Hue Motion Sensor” [31u0gojmGSS.AC] This is a port of the well known DTH by @bogdanalexe90 Hue motion sensor (use ST hub, but no hue bridge) - Devices & Integrations / Community Created Device Types - SmartThings Community ConfigureReporting values are adapted from the DTH. SML002 is already included in this edge driver, and I’m actually using one in my home with this driver.

Ok only problem with my outdoor sensor is that it stopped working (freezing) after some time, so it sadly doesn’t work for me (I’ve tried to delete/add it again but stopped working after some minutes) @iquix

Having also this problem with device handler en edge-driver. Type 002 works well but lost connection with ST after a while.

Hi @iquix - Thanks a ton for the new Edge Driver. I have been having many drop outs with the Hue Sensor recently. Your Edge Driver and someone else’s tip about turning off the secure mode has got it working reliably for a while.

Just a query - I see that every ~5 minutes the ST app is getting feed from the Sensor on illuminance and temperature. I am newish to using ST. Is this configurable time interval configurable anywhere ? For instance when there is no motion, I only want it to get readings every hour ? Hoping this might help battery life on the longer run. Happy to be proven wrong.
