I will, just waiting for the hub to update the firmware to be sure there will be no more changes, then I’ll run the exclusion. To bad I’ve 4 of them behind switches so it will require some work.
Are you sure. That you delete child devices and used Fibaro Double Switch 2 ZW5. Also rename some parameter? Send me a PM. I can help you removly… If you want…
I just managed to make it work, apparently I was selecting the wrong “Fibaro Double Switch 2 ZW5” DTH, there’s 2 of them in the list! One in the upper part, which is the correct official one which I updated, and another one in the lower portion where custom DTHs are.
Selecting the 1st made the trick!

Its not working in my case
I tried, deleted child devices , changed the DTH and updated
it did create a channel 2 child device in IDE, but I cant find the device in the new smartthings app . Am I missing something ?

So I went through all the steps and got rid of the checking status problem, but now I couldnt actually control the 2 switches in both the old and new app. Any pointers appreciated!
Hi Fab, try adding the devices to one of your rooms in the ‘Group’ setting in IDE. Then edit which switches you want to show in the new app.
If anyone was wondering, I finally got it to work by re-addding the device again in the new app and then following the above instructions to 1. delete the child device; 2. change the parent device to “Fibaro Double Switch 2 ZW5” handler
Hi, I tried to edit the group in the USB child device in IDE but still it doesn’t show anywhere in the smartthungs app

yes exactly. changed the group in IDE, but nothing appears in the app. the device is not there in any of the rooms
Thanks for the guide to get update the device handler, this had allowed me to get my devices controllerable by Alexa again.
The problem is I have no lost functionality of the “main” device in WebCore, for some reason the main switch “Fibaro Double Switch 2 ZW5” is showing as a bulb rather than a switch, the “Fibaro Double Switch 2 - USB” is showing as a switch so has full functions within Webcore.
Any ideas how I can get the main ZW5 device as a switch rather than a bulb? This will then allow me to add it to webcore and get all of my pistons involving that switch working again.
At the moment I have fixed Alexa integration of the switches but broken everything else!

Hei, I am struggeling with my Fibaro Single Switch 2 FGS 213, that it is not always reporting an event when being turned on or off with the physical switch. (I use this to trigger other events). Anyone had this issue? Know what to do?
See the Eventlis below, where the On Event is missing at 08:08:53 and Off Event at 08:11:xx.
Wanting to replace my unreliable Fibaro Single Switch 2, at the moment it’s controlling a boiler, Q goes directly to the boiler. My question is, if I connect the Live and Neutral wires to a smart plug, then attach the Q wire on it’s own to a plug that plugs into the smart plug, would that work the same?
