Is the app trying to convey something I’m already aware of? Clicking on this notification opens a new routine dialog, which is cool, but why?
When I click on the notification, it opens the Routine shown in the message. In your case, it should be a Routine called Home and one Routine for Away. Do you have a notification set to send to all members when anyone arrives or leaves? That’s my first thought - that is letting you know all members are getting that message in case it is an item you don’t want shared with all of them. Perhaps changing to select specific members instead of send to all members will stop the notifications. Again, a guess on my part.
My away routine doesn’t include notifications, and I have no at-home routine. There’s nothing on the UI that explains why the app’s notification center is flooded with my attendance activity.
I think it could be reminding you that when your phone’s mobile presence changes between present and not present all the members of your Location can see the attribute change. However that would be the case even if there weren’t any Routines being activated so it is a rather selective notification. I seem to remember this message, or something similar, appearing a long time ago on Android phones too and then it stopped reasonably quickly because the users thought it a bit over the top. When ‘Get your location from this phone’ is enabled for a Location users have to acknowledge the implications anyway.
