I’m new to all this so go easy on me! I have two routines in the Classic app that are not showing up in the new Smarthings app. My understanding was they are supposed to be sync. Is that not how it’s supposed to work?
Also, I’m having an issue for one of my lights that is turning on at random times and I haven’t been able to track down what’s triggering it. I know that under Home and choosing a device you can see when it triggered under the Recently tab. What I’m looking for is to be able to see what rule, condition, scene or routine triggered the light. Is there someway to do this?
Welcome!
Custom smartapps that you set up in the classic app will show up in the new “SmartThings (Samsung connect)” app ( abbreviated “STSC” in the forum) . Routines will not because they have been replaced by an entirely new rules engine under automations in the new app. So you would have to re-create them over on that side if you want to see them there.
I’m not using the STSC myself yet, so i’ll have to leave the question about tracking the event initiators to other folks.
As JD said, routines do not come over to the new app. They are only in Classic. Smart Home Monitor doesn’t come over either, its two separate versions in the new app and classic app.
For the event history you can see more detail if you login to https://account.smartthings.com and look at the events for the device.
