New SmartThings Schema Integration for Arlo

The new integration does not have the ability to view or change the on/off status for the camera.

If this new Arlo Schema Integration does not have the ability to turn the Arlo Camera On/Off, then COUNT ME OUT AND DON’T EVEN MIGRATE ME TO THIS SO CALLED ‘IMPROVED’ INTEGRATION!!! Turning the Arlo Cameras On/Off is the biggest feature I need integrated. So, you can keep all those other ‘improved’ features and leave me on the legacy integration please!

I saw this same thing when I tried it a few months ago when it was live for a day or so and hated it then.

2020 Rundown: Arlo Products and new V3 app?

I removed and reconnected the Arlo Connect, but now it’s totally screwed. I can no longer turn the cameras on or off via SmartThings and can’t use the camera’s sound sensor in SmartThings like before. This is a major step BACKWARDS!!! Funny thing is, the only feature available now is just Recording. But what good is that if the camera isn’t on in the first place. Arlo integration with SmartThings is total garbage now from what I’m seeing! UPDATE: I was able to add the Arlo connection using the old SmartThings app, and everything is back, except not being able to trigger recording via Automations. I can live without that feature, but I cannot live without being able to control the Arlo cameras via SmartThings. Whew…
