New Setup for panic button and siren

I am new to this and want to get started small.

I would like to do the following:

1. Press a panic button
2. Send message to iPhone
3. Have siren beep for 5 seconds
4. Reset and wait for next push of panic button

I am getting a Smartthings hub, a aeon panic button, and a aeon siren.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this would be appreciated or maybe point me to some good tutorial?

Rule Machine would have been perfect for this but it’s not avail as of last night:

In light of the ongoing serious degradation of the SmartThings platform, and the total lack of transparency into the problems with the platform by the company, I have reached the conclusion that it is prudent to no longer support Rule Machine in this environment.

Rule Machine is subject to random failure due to the degraded platform. The platform randomly causes corrupted Rules that may continue to function in unpredictable ways. There is nothing that I as the author can do to correct this. I cannot in good conscience recommend that you rely on Rule Machine. SmartThings itself offers no support.

You may continue to use Rule Machine if you have installed it. There will be no support other than that provided by other Community members. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. You may not distribute Rule Machine or Rule to others.

If you haven’t already bought the siren and panic button, you could get both of these features using the Aeon Labs Aeotec Doorbell which sells for about $50. The device can play up to 100 mp3 files so if you later get door sensors you could play messages like, “the front door has been opened”.
