Hopefully this hasn’t been posted already and this is the correct spot for it. It looks like Netatmo has announced a smoke detector to their product line:
Some of the apparent features include:
- it pairs with a Netatmo siren accessory that is 85 decibels
- alerts via your smartphone app
- the app will contact local emergency services, neighbors, or any other help you need
- it self-checks its operations every seconds
- ten-year battery life
- currently works with Apple’s HomeKit
