Module to turn off after Xminutes

So, I have a module that allows me to turn on a sprinkler valve for my veg garden from the ST app on my phone. When I use it I always set a timer on my phone to remind me to shut the valve off.
Is there a way for me to set a run time on that module to automate the process?
Thank you
Danny

I think you might need to give some more detail here.
What module are you using?
Is it an ST app?
Will Hamilton win the Canadian GP?
Anything useful that people can use?

There are many SmartApps that can help you do that:

  1. SmartLighting (I think it’s called Power Allowance in there - it allows you to turn something on on say, a routine execution, and then turn it off after a while) - SL is an official ST app
  2. SmartRules (for iOS only) - I think it can do that too, @obycode can confirm
  3. webCoRE can do that as well, though it’s in beta milestone 2 right now
  4. CoRE can do that, though it’s no longer receiving any updates other than critical
  5. There are probably many other published or not published SmartApps that can turn something on, and then off after a delay. Look into the marketplace.

Just a misunderstanding. Module = z-wave/zigbee switches.
