I’ve had this happen once before BUT can’t remember how to fix it. It’s a simple fix. Noticed it 2 days ago things are not going into away mode. So no door lock/unlock or light on/off. Finally narrow it down to the location modes not changing. Tried turning on/off location service in the IOS turn the phone on/off. Nothing is working. If I’m away notice in the notifications that is says Goodbye so it should have lock doors turn off light NADA. So go into the SmartThings App go to location setting and notice it’s in Home mode change it to Away and then save and notice the doors unlock and go back to the location and notice it back to the Home What’s up with this. I figure it out once before HELP! I know it something simple.
I’d suggest taking a look in Menu > History to see what Routines are shown as executing when you manually set the Location Mode to Away. Any Routine that sets the Location Mode to Home is of particular interest and needs to be looked at critically.
The sort of thing to watch out for is Member Location conditions that can be triggered by more than one device. Any of those devices changing between present and not present in either direction will typically trigger a check of the conditions, so one device leaving may trigger an execution due to another one still being at home.

Go to menu > settings > get location from this phone > turn it off it will ask you if you want to do this YES. Then turn it back on BINGO now I can change location mode to Away.
Well I thought that would fix it NOPE still the mode is not changing. I can change it manually BUT it’s not happening by Geofencing.
Yes before it was showing me and wife leaving and the routine was triggering BUT not actually happening so there is one more phone I’m having them close and log back in my SiL phone.
Well I don’t know what fixed it BUT it’s working right again. We had a power failure about 8:00 this morning and it basically reset everything and we were out doing brunch and grocery shopping notice we had our power on and watched as we drove up to the house and it triggered the I’m Back routine and unlocked the doors So I’ll watch it for the next couple of days.
