It’s been three or four years since I did much work on my ST system. Checking the IDE, I find four custom DTH installed (pic below). I’m not concerned about the WebCoRE one since WebCoRE is going away.
But I have custom DTH in the Aeotec Door/Window Sensor 7, the Aeon Multisensor 6, and the FortrezZ MIMOlite and I want to keep these devices running. As I understand, these custom DTH will disappear during the transition and these devices will stop working.
What should I do now to prevent that from happening? How do I locate the correct Edge Drivers for these devices?
If there’s a stock driver that matches the fingerprint for whatever is using these DTH (there likely is, as those look like basic devices), the migration will transition them onto the stock driver. If there’s a manufacturer- or community-developed Edge driver that you like better, you can enroll in their channel, install the driver, and when migration gets to that device it should select the custom driver instead of the stock driver. There’ve been some reports that that is happening correctly, so we can be optimistic.
To determine what drivers are available for your devices, you can search this forum for each of them. You can also check this list but it may not be complete with every driver that the community has put together.
