Damnit, always too slow… Looks like it’s gone/fixed now.
OK. The reason being…?
Can a different thread be used for codes? It’s going to be really hard to watch/subscribe to this thread and see the lowes deals if they are covered up by promo code requests…
Or better yet, use Slickdeals…Their Lowes promo code forum is extremely active and will supply codes very quickly upon request…
Just my .02
Agreed. Go to Slick Deals or create the codes yourself as explained in this thread or on Slick Deals.
Ugh, I missed it again? It’s $99 now.
Long story short, we lost Renovopower, there’s fear we may lose the ability to generate codes at all… Have a read over everything here:
I chatted with the owner of RenovoPower. He had a good reason for no longer giving codes away for free.
… and the reason was? Lawsuit threats from Lowes?
They keep screwing up the pricing somehow, but for those who keep missing it, act fast. It appears that the hard wired Nest Protect is once again $49.50 with shipping, now @ Lake Charles, LA.
Got in for 7 early this morning. We’ll see if they ship. After discount ended up at $42 each
The order I put in yesterday was cancelled again. I’m 0-2. I would try Lake Charles, but if you ordered 7 and that is the quantity they show, I imagine I would just get cancelled again.
You should still try. It’s usually real finicky whether something gets cancelled or fulfilled and I haven’t really noticed dependence on the number in stock. I’ve ordered separate orders of devices which have “one” in stock and had all orders fulfilled.
Thanks for the encouragement. You convinced me to try, but they are back at $99 now.
Mine from yesterday was just cancelled.
Sorry to hear that. I’ll let you know if I see the price drop again.
1 shipped 1 cancelled. I wish I understood how they decide what ships
It looks like all of the pricing for both Protects has been corrected
Lowes is canceling the Protects.
And if you had an addon item, they try to ship the $2.50 item with the shipping charge of $6.
So stupid.
I called and they said they will charge the original price to the people that did get it shipped. Or they can return it.
Not sure how that works but that’s what they said.
I ordered a home automation kit and they were giving away a hub with purchase. They canceled the kit and charged $59 for the free item. I didn’t really complain. (Learned early not to bite the tit that feeds you.) Just asked for a full refund, ni problems. I’m not sure what’s going on there but I feel the days of deals are numbered. When a dozen ppl make orders within a short period of time on the same misspriced item it has to throw up a red flag or two.
The bank loves unauthorized charges.
