Have to wait a while to test. My " old " Kidde have blinking LED and are still blinking after 6 years. I would think the radio in Protects would drain more from battery than the LED .

I want 10 year battery in all of my sensors. By the time the batteries need replacement the Emerald sensors will be in every home .

GE Portable Smart Motion Sensor problems (DTH in post 40)

Recently picked up the new smart motion sensor from GE but I’m having trouble getting it to pair as a motion sensor. Off the bat it’s classified as s door/window sensor so I’ve tried every motion device type I can find and still no luck. Any one have any pointers?

Awesome, hopefully that means the 127xx stuff will start coming down. If anyone ends up with excess when they do, I’m after 11x12724 (paddle dimmer) and 3x12730 (paddle fan control).

Saw these (smart button and keypad) at my local Lowes. Unsure if anyone has any use for them or if the even work with ST.

I have both, both work with ST.

Button is a little finicky to set to and use, keypad seems more robust.

That’s what I use mine for as well. They never get pressed due to their finicky behaviour.

I did a chat instead. Interesting. They claim I have a delivery date of 1/18 yet my order still says In Process and I got no shipping notice. Wondering if the agent just assumed 1/18 based on shipping method selected.

I emailed them yesterday. Got a reply that the ship date was estimated as 1/16 so that gave me some hope. Just checked and it has shipped already.

Deal of the decade if I get what I ordered.
