Which contact sensor are you looking at? The one that is cheap right now is the one that isn’t compatible with smartthings, or maybe I just missed it.
The one that is normally 19.99 to 22.99 (depending where you live) was on clearance at a store in GA yesterday for 1.44. This is the one that is compatible with SmartThings. It’s no longer available as of this morning. They had a quantity of one and now they have none in the store.
No. They were made in the same manner you describe. There appears to have been a change to the inventories for the stores previously showing the deals. Either the stores were contacted and moved the status of the items to Parcel delivery not being available, or the quantity in stock was purchased and the line item is no longer available. Things change periodically and there hasn’t been a definitive understanding of why/when.
Yeah, it was fun while it lasted. I got 5 On/Off and 5 Dimmers for like a total of $100, so I can’t complain

My guess is that the loophole was closed anytime when someone calls the store directly to request the Parcel delivery of a item over the phone. If the store only had one item on clearance and someone places an order online for that item then the order would be fulfilled by another stores but the clearance store still shows the item because it was never fulfilled by the original location. For awhile 1 clearance item could be ordered by XXX of customers and fulfilled by many stores but now it looks like people calling the stores to order are actually fixing the glitch for Lowes.
Made me think of office space.

Ordered paddle switches and add-ons over the weekend. The add-ons all showed up yesterday. The switches are showing as cancelled in my Lowe’s account, but I did not get an email.
Same here. 2 Cancelled orders without an email or explanation from Lowes.
The box looks a little small for holding 15 contact sensors and a smoke detector. Guess I’ll see when I get home.
UPDATE: Now I have some more context for size. Looks bigger than initially perceived.

I also snagged some contact sensors from Carrolton, GA when they were $1.44 on Tuesday. Got 4 of them and some tile spacers. I got my last shipping notice this morning. Looks like it’s coming in 3 separate boxes from Salt Lake City (i’m in Denver).

To elaborate, use your lowes real account, choose to “View Purchases” and then there is an “Add Purchase” button. Click that, then the option for Online Order and put in your order number and you can see its status.
$23 worth of stuff including shipping, only $7 of which was my 4 contact sensors. 2 boxes fedex ground and one UPS next day air saver 
I’m going to have far too many GE Rocker Dimmers (12724) (grumble electrician grumble). Maybe add-ons too.
