Edit: removed and added the device 2 more times and the app still doesnt show motion. the live logging does, as posted above, but the icon on the app (above temp, battery, refresh icon) still shows no motion and doesnt change when the magnet is moved from the sensor.
not sure what the issue is…its a bit discouraging.
Went to my Lowes in Columbus GA today and saw lots of the old and lots of the new in the purple boxes with Zigbee HA 1.2. I also saw lots of the new keypads but I dont need anything at this point since I got all the gocontrol kits from home depot and they work great.
The smart button is in the system now but unfortunately no stores around me have it and you can’t buy it through Lowe’s website yet either. Here is the link showing the description.
I’m going to get a motion and keypad today the fobs/pendants still aren’t available in my area. The link below shows all their IRIS stuff and you can easily see if it’s available at your store.
I just purchased the last 3 contact sensors in Concord CA using 10 off 50. The online price is also $2.5 cheaper per contact sensor online versus in store.
Wow thanks @midnightblade. With the $10 off $50, I ordered the contact and motion sensor for total of $46.74 including tax. Will pick them up on the way home from work tonight.
So, can anyone provide insight as to why my contact sensor isnt providing motion feedback in the app? Ive removed it 3 times and re added it, making the appropriate changes on the API webpage.

Question about the IRIS contact sensors…
If I make a routine in which opening a door with one of these sensors installed on it will turn on/off the lights in that room, will it be a locally run smart app?
I do know that the GoControl sensors that come in the kit (2 contact sensors and 1 motion sensor) do run as local apps.
I’m thinking of using the IRIS sensors, but the GoControls work great. I want to keep all of the same sensors.
