Locally run automations still run when server issues?

So does local automations still run on the hub as normal even if Smartthings have server issues and/or crashes and things like that? Figured if these automations are running from the hub then hopefully yes.

I keep swaying between keeping ST or moving to Hubitat and I’m trying to weigh up the pros and cons. I’d love to keep running ST as I know the system so well now.

Yes they will, but the app requires the ST cloud. So you won’t be able to use the app for anything if you don’t have an active internet connection to the ST cloud. but that’s the same as it is now.
