List of Tuya devices that works?

As Paul said, no list, and given tuya’s business model, no way to keep one up-to-date.

The easiest way to avoid issues is to use matter.

  1. If a certified device is individually certified for Matter over WiFi or Matter over Thread, it should work with SmartThings as long as you meet the requirements on the SmartThings side. These will be local integrations and won’t require any custom code, so that’s the good news. It won’t work for all devices or all features, but you will also be able to use the device with the Smart Life app and the SmartThings app at the same time, so that can help fill in some of the gaps in the integration. It also makes it easy to keep the firmware up-to-date.

FAQ: What do I need to add a Matter device to the SmartThings app? Do I need a bridge router device?

  1. for Zigbee devices, If it’s a device that works with a Tuya “matter bridge” then you connected it to that hub, and then then use matter to bring the bridge into SmartThings, and it will bring some of its connected devices with it. Again, not all devices or all features, but also again you’ll be able to use the device in both the smart life app and the SmartThings app, which can be helpful. And it will be a local connection with no custom code required.

Here’s an example of a Tuya matter bridge. (Although the product description says it only works with Moes brand tuya made devices, Some community members have said they have been able to use some tuya devices from other brands.)

Honestly, that’s the only easy way to know that it will work and you won’t have to hunt all over for a custom edge driver or get a custom edge Driver updated with a new fingerprint.

If you don’t want to use matter, it’s a lot of trial and error. Even two devices with the same model number from the same manufacturer may not both work, another reason why there’s no list.
