I’ve been searching around for good examples of a simple garage door setup that drives 2 relays and reads 2 magnetic sensors. There are some threads on using a ESP8266 as the “thing” but I haven’t seen any recent posts and it’s difficult to determine who has code that is well tested. There was one thread out there with a group that seemed to be making progress and the topic was withdrawn.
Anyone have a good example of an ESP8266 sketch and corresponding SmartThings groovy code? I’m just looking to be able to open/close a switch (garage) and read the status of a sensor.
