I have a 916 and am mostly happy with it. I wanted the touchscreen look. We rarely use the touchscreen as someone else said. I tend to use my phone to run a routine when I get home and it opens the lock. The touchscreen works okay but occasionally you have to touch it several times to get its attention.

Ordered the Kwikset 914 this morning with some energizer 1.7v lithium batteries as @RBoy suggested. Saw one too many reviews on people not loving a touchscreen lock vs buttonsā€¦and itā€™s slightly cheaper. Wish me luck!

It looks like the Kwikset locks are coming in Z-wave plus soon, hopefully this helps battery life.

Iā€™ve had my lock in for about a month now and @RBoy 's add-on still shows 100%.
