Looks like a great addition. Do they have an API for integration, that you know of? Would like to replace all 5 external fixtures with this. Got the WAF as well 
What really amazes me is that it tells you somebody is at the door when you are actually near the door and about to press the bell though the recording starts as soon as someone gets on my driveway (and only when). In my situation this is what happens. Not one single unwanted alert in the last few weeks of use. NOT ONE!

If you have the light only turning on when it sees motion but one night you want it to stay on, can you turn it on from inside the house? If so how? Toggle the power switch? Have to do it through the app?
You can turn it off from app and thru the physical switch. It is wireless. So, if you turned it off manually, the next time you switch it on, it has to connect again to your wifi. The picture that you see there can fill up your screen and not limited to that small area.
Also mine is not correctly installed as it should have been a little higher so the glass top doesnāt appear as in the picture. The installer used the existing fixture.

I know it doesnāt have night Vision LEDās but how is the nighttime vision when the actual light is off? Can you see someone in the driveway by your vehicle?

I would guess not so good! I always have it on at dusk to dawn with a LED. Will check and post a pic.

I am no way associated with kuna or its Kickstarter if there was one! I just liked the product and needed outdoor outdoor lights as the vintage lights in my vintage home needed replacement. I am sure they will improve with time as their v1 is pretty good considering they launched on August 15th. Perfectā¦ Noā¦ Better than any other: absolutely yes!

Just depends on what you need. As it is, the default set up is that motion causes the light to come on and the camera to start recording. That works great for me, and I think serves the āvideo doorbellā functioning very well.
I Donāt see it as a replacement for a security camera, but as a video doorbell/intercom, Iām very happy with it.

If itās @JDRoberts approved, it works for meā¦ I am interacting with their support on an iOS 9 related issue (if at all itās on their end) whereby when I come near the door, it does record, notification appears on my iPhone but the sound alert intermittently fails on my iOS 9 iPhone 6. Never happened with iOS 8.4.1.
Also the Kuna related notifications disappears after a while from the Notification Center on iOS 9 when you pull down the notifications on iPhone. These issues may be totally unrelated with their product.
The iPad never fails though for the sound alert which comes with the notification. And this appears in my home wifi where one of the lights is like 25 feets away from the router, seperated by a wooden wall, wooden door, glass door as well as the concrete/brick outer wall on the front patio. Even then the video/notification is spot on but for intermittent iPhone only sound alert.
They are looking at the iOS 9 closely.
UPDATE: Regarding the notification issue, I was talking about above it looks like several iOS 9 users are facing issues in various apps like WhatsApp, Messenger etc. etc.

I really donāt like that you can see the bottom of the light, I really think thatās a bad design flaw.
It has a 40 degree adjustable angle. You donāt see the bottom of the light at all in mine. 
My fixtures are pretty low compared to the the newer houses. If it was installed in the brick a little higher then with certain angle, it could have been eliminated.

Question: Does the light switch need to stay on permanently? I am wondering because my switch turns on 3 lights outside. If I replace the light at the front door with a Kuna, and it needs to stay on, it will keep the other lights by my garage on as well. Or is the camera on all the time, and the switch is just for the bulb?
The switch should remain on all the time to get full functionality else how will you get alerts or monitor the house if the switch is off say during the day hours when you are away and separate power is NOT needed for the camera.
I am assuming in your case all three lights will be on unless the non kunas have dusk to dawn functionality or you use a smart bulb with schedules. The experts may have better idea. As such their customer service is very responsive and do ask for suggestions.
I may be misreading something here, but it sounds like there is video recording functionality and not just live video only. is that true? I took back the Nest Cam I bought because I discovered the $10 a month video storage service. I donāt need tons of storage, but I would like to have a LITTLE recording so if I miss someone at the door while Iām work, I can pull it up a couple hours later. Is that a feature at all or is this just a live video stream kind of device?
It has video recording (subscription based)ā¦ First month is free), live video, two way intercom, at the door notification with sound alertā¦ Sirens to scared kids awayā¦ Send some standard messages (I am sure we can add some our own). Will confirm) Only thing is if you if your router is in a dungeon and has to pass thru several doors/glasses/concrete:brick etc, you will not that be good! Mine penetrates two walls, a wooden door, a storm glass door, brick wall and then the light. But my signals are strong there as well. So? Works for me. But sure YMMV. Just check there website getkuna.com and they are NOT lying about anything as a new company with untested product.
Talk to them! Just no false alert outside and the use as a video doorbell is worth it.
The free service stores the recording for only two hours. So you can look at it after an alert, but it goes away quickly.
You can pay five dollars a month or $50 a year and recordings will be saved for seven days. Thereās also a higher price plan, I donāt remember whatās included in that.
