KUDLED - UK 1/2/3 Gang Switch

I meant link to buy but realised they arnt available in uk or on any British mailing approved site :frowning: DAMN

@a4refillpad, that Orvibo was a good find.

@simic, I do like the Xiaomi stuff, I think there gear is great (I’ve quite a few of their devices). However I’ve seen people on these forums have had drop out issues with some of the Xiaomi ZWave products.

Are either of you getting stung with customs tax for these imports?

I contacted them and got the following response:

Its a real shame as they would be a perfect solution and actually look ok.

@Deleted_Username 2012, wow that guy we bought them from must have thought all his Christmas’s came at once this summer

I think he meant the Schneider ulti range?

Yes Schneider, you can see my reply was to Automateeverything

The kudleds are made in factory in batches to order. According to the seller they need to order a fresh factory run which will take some time.

Have to be careful though.

I recalled they had 2 prior batches. One with kudled logo, one without.

The ones without logo seemed not compatible with ST.

Did the seller commit when will be the next factory production run?

The seller only committed to emailing me as soon as he knows. That was about a month ago.

@a4refillpad Is that the seller from Aliexpress, or did you find another one?

Yes the same seller. Did not find anyone else who sold them, I believe they commissioned the factory run themselves.

Hi Teohwk,

May be I’m too late to view your post.
Right now I have ST and Ulti Zigbee devices at home but failed to link them up.

Would you share the procedure to let Ulti Zigbee into pairing mode and let ST to search them out?
Thank you so much

Regards,
Terence

Dear cedrictang,

Can you share how to let ST search the Ulti switch?
I have tired putting Ulti in Program Mode but ST cannot search them out.

Thank you so much

Regards,
Terence

I don’t have a physical switch with me now but let me try to do this by
memory.

First you need to reset the switch back to factory default. To do this,
make sure the LED on the clear button is blinking amber. If it is not
blinking amber press Prog button once. Once the LED is blinking amber, use
a needle pin to press on the clear button. Hold until LED turns solid
green. The led will turn off after you release the clear button.

Now, on your smarthhings app, connect new device from marketplace. Once app
is searching, press and hold Prog button. Smartthings should find your
device now.

Try it.

Sorry I missed this. Yes one needs to reset it first.
Should connect as a Zigbee switch.
I have the user manual if you need it.

I’ve got the physical Schneider Ulti Zigbee ON/OFF, Dimmer, Curtain and Double Pole as I am using its Schneider IPGateway controller to form a Smart Home Network to control Lights, Curtains and Water Heater.

However, I’m not able to search any Schneider Ulti Zigbee Switch during the mode of “Add a Thing”. It just keep on showing “Looking for devices…” only. (Schneider Ulti Zigbee Switch(s) are already in pairing mode - Green Lights of the clear button is on.)

Any guideline for integrating Schneider Ulti Zigbee Network into SmartThings??
Is it needed to use SmartThings V.2 instead?

Looking forward to hear any good news for integrating the Schneider Ulti Zigbee Switch. Thanks.

which models are are using? i found that only the 1 gang on/off zigbee switch would pair with ST. the 2 gang pairs but only one of the gangs would work. the egg shape zigbee remote pairs but i cannot get it to work with the button controller DTH.

I have this Zigbee switch 1/2/3/4 gang. It can pair with ST but only one of these gangs works.

Hi there, perhaps I can help.

I am developing such a device, my current version is based on the EnOcean radio but I’m currently working on a Zigbee version for ST integration.

It has been designed specifically for UK installations so it does not require a neutral and I’m also incorporating energy harvesting technology so additional (wireless & batteryless) switch transmitters could be used to control the same light circuit (useful for 2-way switching, bedside control, etc).

I’m hoping to launch on Kickstarter in June, your support would be appreciated so I can bring this device to the UK ST market.

Check out my website, www.rhoob.com.
