Known Issues with This Site

Please feel free to add your own:

  1. Limited support for Chrome browser on iOS devices.
  2. Black bar/navigation on main page of the forum needs to have a javascript solution applied.

There are issues when replying or posting from an iOS device. When you hit the Reply or Cancel button to commit the action, you actually have to hit it twice.

As of today, the site is practically unusable on iPad. :frowning:

Are you seeing pages not loading? That is across platforms right now. Seeking help from DIscourse.

I am seeing threads not completely loading as of today in both Desktop Chrome and Safari, so I don’t think it is just the iPad.

Known issue they are working on. Thanks for your patience.

Not sure what the “Latest” item in the hamburger menu is bringing up, but it ain’t the latest posts.

Chrome (OS X and Android).

I think it is Latest (after the pinned topics).

This is what it is bringing up here; decidedly different from the “Latest” link in the “Black Bar”.

Good catch. This may be this:

Or, if not, I posted this on the meta forum for Discourse:

Something a bit amiss with the PRE formatting tags as well…

Have a look here.

How did you even get the PRE tag to work? Paste it in?

The entire forum website takes a really long time to load in Chrome.
I get a blank page for about 20 seconds before it loads, unless I stop and reload.
The stop and reload seems to fix this issue.
This is true on Chrome Canary across all platforms.
Anyone else seeing this?

On regular Chrome or Canary I do not see this. Which OS?

Both Windows (7) and OSX (Mavericks/Yosemite). Could this be extension related? I just have Ghostery and Adblock extensions turned ON …

I occasionally have issues loading a javascript file which causes everything to stall. Usually from imakewebthings.com (or something like that).

@Dianoga @Ben Same issue here, Chrome has a blank page while trying to load something from imakewebthings.com.

After repeated refreshes?

It also fails to load in Safari on iPad now and then. Have to hit reload. Seems to got worse in the past few day.
