Kasa plug/lamp won’t wake up after being dormant all night. If manually turned on first, it’ll then work fine. Problem not with Alexa as other plugs work. I can hear the smart plug click but it won’t turn on lamp at first. Have reset numerous x’s. Any possible solutions?

I would first make sure the Kasa firmware is up to date using the Kasa App. I would then test using the Kasa App and if I get the same behavior, I would contact Kasa or replace the HS103.
Other idea. Try connecting to a LED lamp and see if the behavior changes. the HS103 is designed for light usage (12 Amp max) and if your lamp has a high start-up demand (like in florescent lamps) it may be slowed by the 12 Amp limit.
Are you using a SmartThings hub and/or ST app or just Alexa?

As mentioned, I’ve reset the plug numerous times to no avail and have been in contact with Kasa. Is difficult to test the lamp (not hi demand), as the issue only occurs after it has been dormant overnight. It’s now become a challenge even w/Kasa replacing, as I’m not convinced it’s the plug or WiFi connection.
Have another plug with different lamp in same room, will try both tomorrow AM. Will also try different LED type blub after ruling out plug and location.

If you are hearing a click on the plug and the lamp does not turn on - it sounds like an issue with the plug itself - a hardware issue. If it is new, you may want to try getting it replaced.
