Issues with SmartThings Routines and Honeywell T6 Pro Z-Wave Thermostat

I am attempting to setup a day and nighttime routine in the ST app to control the temp on my Honeywell T6 Pro Z-Wave Thermostat. While I am able to manually adjust the temp up/down, set cooling/heating mode, etc. in the ST app, the routine automations are not working (i.e. cool to 74 at 9 pm and cool to 76 at 6 am). Does anyone have any recommendations?

Please post screenshots of your Routines.

The T6 pro doesnā€™t automatically switch over from heating to cooling. If youā€™re trying to do that it may be an issue. Youā€™ll need a custom driver to enable that feature in the thermostat.

Out of curiosity, why would you not use the thermostatā€™s built in programming to do that instead of relying on two different clouds?

It was my understanding that the t6 pro does provide for auto-changeover. It sounds as though itā€™s buried in the settings:
The Honeywell site
and a Hubitat discussion. ā€œā€¦Advanced settings to enable it (option 300)ā€

I am hoping to get some response about an EDGE driver for the T6 Pro.
I purchased one and installed it in a Hubitat environment, and itā€™s a very nice thermostat with good support with Hubitat.

However, I want to install two of them in a SmartThings environment, so I can remotely monitor and sync if my tenants change the settings on the thermostats. (I need to sync the Honeywells with a mini-split system that is not compatible with Z-Wave, argh).

From everything Iā€™ve dug up, it seems that the Honeywell T6 Pro is not supported by SmartThings.

Or does someone know if thereā€™s a generic thermostat EDGE driver that will control the T6 Pro?

I donā€™t think I need anything fancy, just notification if the settings arre changed, and possibly adjustment of temperature settings and mode.

Thanks for any help.

The Honeywell T6 Z-wave Thermostat is supported by the ā€œZ-Wave Thermostat Mcā€ driver. I donā€™t know if the T6 Pro is the same or different than the T6.

What are the fingerprints for your T6 Pro?

Thanks Paul. Iā€™ve found the GitHub list of EDGE drivers, and it lists the T6 Pro in the fingerprint list, using the device profile ā€œbase thermostatā€, which looks to cover the basics anywayā€¦

@RBoy has indicated that itā€™s ā€˜in the worksā€™, so Iā€™ll hope that he comes up with one that takes it as far as it will go, (with his usual sensible GUIā€¦)

It looks like itā€™s worth at least trying it in SmartThings, at any rate. Iā€™ll be able to adjust it remotely, even if I have to regularly think to check it.

Thanks again.

To follow up, Iā€™ve found that the thermostats do work with SmartThings, but uses the generic ā€œZwave Thermostatā€ ā€œbase thermostatā€ driver. I havenā€™t gotten to know it as well as Iā€™d like, but at this point I see that itā€™s lacking a few Honeywell-specific functions. Schedule edit, and enable, is one.

Iā€™m hoping to find a driver that utilizes the specific functions of the T6.
