Issues with Bticino shutter control

Hi, I’m using your driver, but there is a display error. I am using “Bticino living now K4027C” shutter controls.

Even if the movement is correct, the shutters appear closed when they are open and vice versa, with also an error in the display of the opening in the icon.

Basically the percentage now works the other way around.

Also there is some strange behavior:

when I say to Alexa: lower the shutter it opens it, but when I say close the shutter it lowers normally. The Raise, Open, or Close commands all work fine.

It’s as if it doesn’t understand the lower shutter command (“LOWER” in Italian") well.

The firmware is 2024-08-01

Is there any way to solve it?

What driver are you using? I am not aware of this manufacturer being listed on my Zigbee Window Treatment Mc driver.
It’s probably pairing like a generic device.

The commercial model does not work to pair with any driver. What model and manufacturer is shown in smartthings advanced users?

You need install this driver version:
In App delete this driver without removing device. It won’t let you remove the driver because you have paired devices, but this will update the driver to the latest version immediately.

Close the app and reopen it, then it should work fine.

This version sends the commands and events inverted just like other manufacturers like Ikea.
It should work fine now.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling device.

If the fingerprints, manufacturer: Legrand and model: Shutter SW with level control are correct, it is impossible device working the same as before, since the commands and events are being sent inverted.

If you send me the logs with the CLI when the open and close command is executed, I can analyze what happens, otherwise I cannot see what is happening.

• enter the IP of your HUB, you can see it in smartthings web, advanced users
• It will show you the list of drivers installed on your HUB
• type the number corresponding to the driver you want to see
• It will show you the activity of the device connected to that driver

Then send open or close command in app and you can see the message logs in cli.

The bedroom roller shutter (“tapparella stanza da letto”) was closed (it reported 100% open from the app), I sent the open command from the smartthings app and it opened completely (but in the end it reported 0% closed), then I sent the close command from the app smartthings and it closed (but reported 100% open again)

What I see in the logs:

• The device is not running the subdriver that should invert commands and events.
• This subdriver is activated if device:get_manufacturer() == “Legrand”

Can you go into the device settings in the app and make a change to the presetPosition preference?

When you do this, new information will appear in the CLI logs regarding the manufacturer and model, please copy and paste the information into a post

It seems that both the manufacturer and model have a blank character, but I can’t see if it’s at the beginning or at the end.

I have modified the driver to add a blank character at the end of the manufacturer and model.

• prepare the CLI to capture the driver installation. You can open two CLI windows, one for install driver and other for the logs
• type the command smartthings edge:drivers:install
• It will ask you for the channel number where my MC driver is
• It will ask you for the Zigbee Window Treatment Mc driver number
• After a few seconds you will see in the CLI how the new version of the driver is installed, copy and paste the installation logs, a minute of logs or more

Then try to see if it works well
