Ismart alarm siren

Can anyone tell me if the ismart siren works with SmartThings and ST sensors? And also does the siren have a delay setting? So it doesn’t start blowing up right away? Thanks

Not compatible. It only works with its own Controller. From their support:

The iSmartAlarm system uses its own proprietary wireless communications protocol. It doesn’t use Z-Wave, Bluetooth or ZigBee.

ISmartAlarm does have an IFTTT channel/service, so if you have the full iSmartAlarm System, including the controller, you could get indirect integration with SmartThings that way:

For any questions about specific device features such as delays, you should check their site:

Alternatives which do work with SmartThings

There are several Sirens which do work with SmartThings, including GoControl, Fortrezz, Aeotec, Zooz, etc.

Some of these do have a parameter on the siren which allows for delay. In other cases, you can add a delay programmatically depending on the exact use case.

Off the top of my head, the GoControl does have a configurable delay option before the siren starts. This device is sold under a number of different brand names, including Linear

The Fortrezz doesn’t have a delay until on, instead it has an unusual feature which lets you delay the time until the siren can be turned off once it starts sounding. So while the Fortrezz advertises a “delay”, it’s not the one you want.

@krlaframboise has done a lot of work with SmartThings – compatible sirens, he might be able to say more.
