Is it possible to create our own server to use these hubs independent from the cloud? Maybe in the future when these version of the hubs become unsupported? make it a phone app maybe, my phone is on 24/7 and it is fast enough to run at least 5 or 8 hubs. It would create less load on the servers if the tech savvy people running old hubs ran their own mini-servers. pipe dream

Does this also include logging? I’m not seeing anything in the IDE logs (for quite some time now).

My dashboard loaded eventually. It was very slow, but no errors.

Maybe there is a certain timeout threshold. I have few devices…

Slow response times to begin with and now this issue is beginning to lose the all important wife approval to continue this experiment. Please, please, please make apps that do not need internet access run locally and not have external server dependencies.

Same for me - NJ - Dashboard is slow but working.
However can’t add a new device.

It seems like I’m getting this slow app notice a lot more frequently these days. Not a good thing…

@zzarbi: Running a “local copy of the SmartCloud” is a model that some companies are considering fundamentally. Spark.io and Canopy.link are both making their clouds open-source.

ALYT.com is basing their Hub on Android, with the intention that quite a lot of logic can be packaged in the form of Android OS compatible “Apps”.
