Iris Open/Close Sensor only half working

I’ve got an Iris sensor that still promptly reports Open/Close status, but has been stuck at the same temperature for a week.

Anything besides a reset for it?

ideas

1. delete device / resetup,
2. battery reset,
3. battery reset after 30min without a battery plugged in,
4. use a different DTH (smartthings smartsense DTH, iris DTH, mitchpond DTH)?

Put it in the refrigerator for 10 minutes (not longer), Then leave it out at room temperature and see if it reports the change.
