Yeah, but it needs more than that; an advanced search option with AND/OR/DateRANGE/AUTHOR/Etc.

I have to chime in, because Iāve been meaning to write in about this. The lack of zoom is an issue, but my main problem is the search. The fact that the results is in a drop down rather than a separate page makes no sense. Itās impossible to keep the results around while you investigate each link. Even if you remember to tap and hold the link to open the result in a separate tab, by the time you return to the original tab the iPad has likely flushed it out of memory, causing the page to reload, thus losing the results. Not to mention that you canāt see all the results or scroll the drop down.
More generally, itās hard to find recent results rather than old ones.
I think Iāve been able to scroll the drop down in Safari on my Mac, but at this point itās been a while since Iāve tried. I gave up on the search a long time ago and started using a google site search when I want to find anything.

Hey I just saw that, at least for Chrome and IE, they put in a scroll bar for the search function. Still cuts off a few at the bottom for me but proof that the Smartthings gods are listening

Yep, see that in Safari on my Mac. Still absolutely horrible on an iPad.

As a 50-something software engineer, I find the locking out of zoom an egregious violation of human interface ethics, the primary one of which is ākeep the user in control.ā Itās been two months, man, fix this defect now! The forum is useless to me on the iPad, which means itās mostly useless, because Iām rarely at a desktop computer.
why hasnāt this zoom bug been fixed? Very anoying. Also the low contrast light gray text. Poor functionality.
