iOS app (new, not classic) not sending notifications

I am not getting any notifications in latest iOS on my iphone 8 with the new app. in iOS settings / notifications, I’ve allowed notifications and allow all types of alerts as persistent. in the app, in settings, I’ve got notifications set to ON and allowed notifications for all devices. I’ve tried most of my motion sensors, turned on off lights, etc, but no notifications. Any suggestions?

EDIT: I also tried the suggestions found here. No dice.

You can use automations to send notifications :slight_smile:

I’ll look in to that. But that means it doesn’t work natively with the app and iOS?
