Not sure what to do here. My motion detector works in that with the smarthings app open it changes from no detection to detection when I touch it. But it now no longer sends me notifications to my phone, making it pointless. Not sure if this is an app issue, a sensor issue or an iOS issue. it used to work!

You’re going to have to figure out what was sending the a notification and check that. Maybe it was a routine, an app, or a third party app. Without knowing that you can’t troubleshoot. The motion sensor on its own will not send a notification.
