Hi @CSC
did you get notified of this or see it on the website? Really hope it didnt slide back
Little bit disappointing that @Team_AXIS replied to a newer comment after yours but didnât acknowledge the delivery date question⌠doesnt bode well!
Ant
Yes, from their website. I briefly remember the original target was Sep?
back in August i had a message from them stating delivery would start in Dec so perhaps early 2017 isnt too far out but certainly is a delay none the less.
I am going to cover my basis and have also ordered a MoveZ https://igg.me/at/movez/x/15018950
Its not as pretty but at $50 for the MoveZ vs $165 for the Axis i think its worth a closer look. For some rooms where my blinds are going to be 90% automated i am less bothered about the look / feel / physical interaction experience and i think the MoveZ will be a far more cost effective option in these scenarios. For the common physical interaction points Axis may remain the better option as it looks nicer but having a redundant option you understand is always good in my opinion.
Hope this helps @CSC
I really want these also but am hesitant to pre order stuff after been burned on kickstarter twice. Also these two products have been in development for some time now.
Only twice!? I guess I must be a real gambler⌠I think itâs 5 or 6 burns for me.
i was trying to save face. Iâve been burned 3 times. Not as bad as 5-6 tho!
Hi @Team_AXIS
Why your unit is so costly compared to Movez z-wave version?
@tgauchat
Why you bothered to answer when you have so many question marks in your answer?
I find the question strange, itâs like asking Apple why they sell their phone at specific price compare to another phone?
If you think the price worth then go for it, else just buy the movez .
"If you think the price worth then go for it"
I like to think that wayâŚbut for that I need some justification. For Apple products, you will get hundreds of justifications over Internet. So for Axis, I would like to hear some justification from the companyâŚWhatâs wrong in it?
Donât you think others also need to know this before they make a wrong decision just by looking at the price and go for some other product?
One thing I wonder about for either solution is the power rating - how can I tell if it will handle my blackout shade? The shade is about 4â tall by a little over 5â wide, and has what Iâve always felt is a very âheavyâ pull. (It has a bead chain.) You have to pull on it quite firmly for it to go up/down.

FINALLY. SOMEONE WILLING TO ASK THE TOUGH QUESTIONS.
I am curious if anyone received their gear?
Did anyone get theirs? If so, how did it go and work for you? Videos look promising.
Anyone? @Team_AXIS. any updates?
Last seen was september
On their website (if I remember correctly) they indicated that they were going to start shipping the week of 25 April. A week later, they were advertising âonly a few devices leftâ.
Yet, it doesnât seem that anyone has received one yet.
Getting worried.
Hey, I have found that there are three really similar products on Indiegogo, could someone tell me which one is the best? Has someone ever actually received any of these? How can I buy them, how long will I have to wait? Thereâs no info on the campaign page.

Thereâs no way to compare projects which are still in pre-release with anything else, because you donât know what they will actually deliver. Or when. Itâs quite common for Indiegogo projects to be 18 months or more past their expected delivery date, and to be released with fewer features than promised. Unless the company has a patent or something else to make it truly unique, itâs generally better to go with products that are already available for purchase.
In the case of motorized shades, see the following topic (this is a clickable link)
Good point, I will take a look!
