I can’t add my Smartthings on my google home

I can’t connect to my smartthings in google home.

Is there a way so I can revoke Google access to my smarttthings account so I can add it again?

In the new STSC app:

  1. Tap the hamburger menu in the upper left
  2. Tap the gear icon in the upper right of the menu
  3. Tap the Connected Services entry

From there it should be obvious

You may need to log into your google account and remove smartthings from google. The setting is buried pretty deep into your google account. I don’t remember exactly where it is.

Ok, found it from that end. I’m on Android so it may be different.

Access your Google account. For Android on Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e running Android 9, the steps are:

  • Open Settings
  • Select Accounts and Backup
  • Select Accounts
  • Select your Google account by its name
  • Select the “Google Account Info, security & personalization” item

The rest of this should be identical regardless of how you get to your account

  • Select the Security tab
  • Under the heading “Signing in to other sites”, select Linked Accounts

SmartThings should be in the resulting list. Select Unlink.

You have to start the connection from the Google Home app, not from ST. Go into the google Home app, hit the + sign and then “Something i already have set up” then select SmartThings.
