Howto use existing wired door and window contacts for alarm?

Moving into a new house soon which has all windows and doors wired with contacts. Is there an alarm control panel that can bride all these for use with ST?

Looking at a something like the Honeywell Tuxedo Touch that support Zwave… It mentions controlling other devices from it but does it allow the opposite? As in, controlling and monitoring the alarm from the ST app?

Or would love to hear about any other devices that can bridge a wired alarm system for use with ST.

I think there is a solution with arduino that you can monitor 6 hardwired contact sensors with there is a thread about it somewhere. Otherwise the easy way would be to connect each one to the dry contact’s that are under *most (not all) door sensors
