Start with removing the battery from the smoke detector. Start adding a Thing in your SmartThings hub app (the Classic one) and insert the battery. Within a few minutes the smoke detector will be added as a Thing. Then you need to install a driver.
Here a link to one of the driver (DTH) you need to install.
The driver I use currently is from @bspranger
Bspranger Xiaomi Mijia Honeywell Smoke Detector DTH
Already familiar with that?
Working with the IDE console?

Hi ben
I tried sync the detector with your instructions but it doesnt find it do you have an idea what is going wrong.
Pairing
Press and hold reset button on the device for ± 5 seconds until the blue light blinks three times, release the reset button (the blue light will blink once more) and wait.
NOTE: When you fail to pair a device, try replacing the battery, this could solve the problem.
Or
Quickly press the front button on your Honeywell Smoke Detector three consecutive times in quick succession.
2 different advices, give it a try with the SmartThings hub in paring mode.

Thx segev.
I have removed one of the 2 Xiaomi Mijia Honeywell Smoke Detectors from my SmartThings hub to test pairing for you.
Start pairing mode in the App (Classic app) and press the button on the front of the smoke detector repeatedly every 1 seconds. Continue until you see the message that a new Thing is found.
Accept that device and press Save. Go to IDE via a web browser and install the DTH.
I had the DTH from bspranger already installed when I tested pairing.

I am so desperate from that smoke detectors
Last step, choose the ârightâ smartthings app.
Go to the the app store (Google or Apple) and choose the one without the dots inside (middle one in my picture, the left one is the app you use, that doesnât work with most of the non-SmartThings devices).

Ohhhh my goodness i finally manage to pair with the classic app
Thank you so muchhhhhh
You are the menđ€
Now you can add more and more devices from Xiaomi and others Things with the corresponding DTH.
Sorry but what is the DTH ? Is it the Device handler? im newbeđ
How is your smoke detector displayed in the Classic app? Like my picture in msg #16 ?
